During these unprecedented times in our global community, it’s with heavy hearts that the Nanaimo Child Development Centre has had to make the decision to cancel the 37th Annual Silly Boat Cancelled Regatta fundraising event, scheduled for July 19, 2020.


The Nanaimo Child Development Centre (NCDC) is a community-based non-profit organization that has been an integral part of Central Vancouver island since 1967.

This year Silly Boat Regatta is happening on Sunday, July 19, 2020. This amazing fundraiser brought in over $110,000 to the Centre last year! We are looking for Teams, Sponsors, Vendors and Volunteers!

Join us Sunday, July 19th at Maffeo Sutton Park / Swy-A-Lana Lagoon (Inner Harbour) for a spectacular day full of fun, camaraderie and of course, silly antics!
